Yes. Solvang Theaterfest produces and presents concerts with well known recording- artists, our summer Jazz & Beyond series, and other events throughout the year. The theater is also available for rent.
Are all of your events outdoors?
Yes. We enjoy beautiful California weather under the stars and under the oaks. Please check the weather report. Nights are generally very chilly, so many attendees bring blankets and dress warmly for evening events.
Do you rent blankets or seat cushions?
Yes. Both are available at minimal charge. Also, jackets, sweatshirts, hats and blankets are sold at The Company Store on site.
Are there concessions?
Yes. Both savory & sweets items are available for sale along with alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. You may bring food for a picnic on the grounds prior to PCPA shows only. No glass is allowed in the Theater space.
What time do the Grounds open for picnicking?
6:30 p.m. prior to PCPA productions. Gate time varies for other productions, usually 60 to 90 minutes before the show starts.
When is the box office open?
The box office at our theater is used by PCPA in the summer months and is open at 4:00 p.m. on PCPA performance days. Tickets for PCPA productions may be purchased at www.pcpa.org when the Box office is not open. For questions about PCPA productions, please call PCPA at 805-922-8313. Please note that PCPA does not sell tickets to other events at our theater, such as Jazz & Beyond and other events outside of their summer program.

Is smoking allowed?
No smoking is allowed on SFT grounds (this includes the use of electronic cigarettes). Smoking outside the gates is permitted but please extinguish and dispose of your cigarettes in the appropriate receptacle. Please keep your ticket stub for reentry.
Where can I park?
Parking is available at no charge on the surrounding streets and the public parking lots off Copenhagen Drive and Oak Street.
Is the Theater accessible to individuals with disabilities?
Yes. Wheelchair access into the Theater by ramp is available and space for wheelchairs is provided, as well as handicap bathroom access.
